I was 13 years old in 1982 during the Lebanon 1982 Israeli invasion and I learned how to use them on a daily basses for many years since they blew up the electric company , these lanterns became every man and woman’s best friend . Every one had them some better then others . I had to toss one out our our balcony because a flameout happened since I didn’t give it enophe time to warm up . I didn’t want to catch the house on fire so I managed to toss it into the street from a ten story building hitting the ground at high speed turned into a ball of fire from the impact. So I quickly learns what not to do 🙂 luckily they were cheap in those days .So when I saw this briteLYT I almost cried because I finally found the real ones , it’s in my book if you like action check it out For The Love Of Beirut
